According to the United Nation's statistics, an estimated 737 million people live in poverty.

Do you know that Makoko Lagos has been described by international media as the world's largest floating slum?

So womanhood with Olori Ajayi team visited a location in Makoko and the state of the place was pitiable. The children lamented on their inability to go to school most times when it rains due to flooding, the parents explained that they have to take the risk to back the younger children and walk in the dirty water to take them to school.

They hope to go to school where their dreams can be shaped but here is flood staring them in the eye with each rain.
Their parents walk through the water to go about their businesses. This is definitely dangerous due to diseases contacted from exposure to dirty water.

At this point after due delebrations, womanhood with Olori Ajayi group embarked on a wooden pedestrian bridge project to ensure that they make life meaningful for the children and the community at large.

With this project, the innocent children can at least get education
