Osun State Chapter visit to Enuogbope Orphanage Home, OSOGBO
We want to say a very big thank you to everyone who volunteered and made it for today's visit. May your needs be met.
You never know what you have until you see the have nots. Our group took out time today to visit the makoko area of sabo. This is with regards to our forthcoming anniversary in which we intend to reach out to the community by taking up a project.
From the pictures, you would see that the residents of this area, their children especially, need our support in any way possible. Yes, government ought to take up this project but we also are a part of government.
It's hard to believe that such areas exist in a city as big as Lagos. No roads, no water, etc. The picture with someone fetching water is thier reality of where they fetch water from which is such a distance.
Once the rains come, the whole place will be flooded, making it impossible for children to go to school.
We also met Funmi Samuel, who has been helped by the group and Olori Ranti Ajayi.
The people were amazed that they are in the thoughts of you and I. Mr. Ik will help us with making enquiries on the cost for doing wood bridges so that the children can go to school when it rains.
We met a child, David who needs 20,000 for common entrance preparation and a widow with 5 children who lost her husband last year.
Thank you Olori for putting a smile on the faces of these children with the lots you bought for them.
We solicit your support in advance, so that lives can be touched.
